A fake BDJobs email, and the trust gap in hiring
I just got an email dressed up to look like it came from Bangladesh's biggest job platform, BDJobs. It was sent from noreply@prothomsir.com. Different domain, same old trick: click this link, your "dream job" is waiting.
It wasn't a job. It was a redirect to nowhere.
This isn't rare anymore
That's the part that actually worries me. Every week, thousands of job seekers in Bangladesh get emails like this. Real logos, real-sounding names, fake everything else. People spend hours filling out "applications" that go straight into a scammer's database, not a recruiter's inbox.
